Lynne Hentemann is Director of Digital Publicity for KARMA Media Labs. She specializes in generating online press for client campaigns through outreach to digital publications of key trades, niche blogs, and major news portals. Lynne has extensive experience in formulating and managing global communications programs, with knowledge in Asia and European markets.
Lynne offers more than 12 years of executive, corporate and branding communications experience working with leading companies and executives in mobile, digital media, consumer electronics and interactive gaming businesses. Prior KML, Lynne established and shaped the Fox Mobile Entertainment’s communications function and oversaw public relations through two major organizational changes, including a joint venture with Jamba, based in Berlin. While at the company, Lynne managed international communications with key partners at News Corporation and other related organizations, as well as with licensees and other business partners. Additionally, she managed all executive and corporate messaging; media and analyst relations; special events; philanthropy; and branding.
Before joining Fox, Lynne lead communications for Yahoo!’s Entertainment and Games divisions. With her primary goal of creating a fresher image and expanding audience reach for the divisions, Lynne helped institute various successful lasting consumer programs and events. She also led the divisions through a major reorganization, which involved extensive change management communications.
While working for global public relations agencies, Hill & Knowlton and Weber Shandwick, Lynne oversaw global communications strategies for world leaders in digital media and consumer technology, including HP, Sony (PlayStation) and Dolby. She has worked extensively within Asian markets, overseeing communications for Singapore and working with executives from Daewoo, based in Seoul.
Lynne holds a B.A. in Marketing with a minor in International Business from Miami University.
